Kanisha Pandi is the lead physiotherapist here at Active Physio Practice, who qualified in 2010 and has worked across a wide variety of physiotherapy areas including the NHS, Private sector and Occupational health. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). Kanisha completed her MSc in Advancing Physiotherapy Practice from Coventry University in 2012 and MBA in Healthcare Management from Coventry University in 2014. Her work is based on the principles of Evidence Based Practice and research.
With vast experience in assessing, diagnosing and rehabilitating a wide variety of neuromusculoskeletal conditions. Kanisha has worked in acute as well as chronic settings and worked with a vast variety of issues in the neuromusculoskeletal spectrum such as degenerative conditions, traumatic injuries (soft tissue, nerve, bony injuries) as well as sports injuries.
Kanisha prides herself in spending time with her patients in order to give them the most efficient and effective treatment. Her treatment options include joint mobilisation and manipulation, exercise therapy, soft tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, acupuncture, posture and ergonomics and more. She is a fully qualified acupuncture physiotherapist and a member of Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.
Apart from work, she enjoys travelling, keeping fit, music, cooking and spending time with her friends and her young family.
